Sekarang, buka ponsel atau tablet anda dan langsung saja jalankan Google Maps dan ikuti langkah-langkah dibawah ini. Panduan ini menggunakan aplikasi Google Maps versi 6.8.1 yang terinstal di tablet berbasis Android Honeycomb.

6 Langkah rekreasi digital

1. setelah Google Maps aktif, masukkan kata kunci lokasi wisata yang hendak dikunjungi. Misalnya anda mau melihat Menara Eiffel. Masukkan saja kata kunci "Eiffel Tower, Paris" di kotak pencarian. Selanjutnya aplikasi akan melakukan pencarian lokasi.
2. Jika sudah ditemukan aplikasi akan menampilkan titik lokasi yang anda cari dengan tada pin berwarna merah. Jika ternyata kunci tersebut menampilkan sejumlah pilihan lokasi yang terkait dengan kata kunci, pilih salah satu yang diinginkan atau masukkan kata kunci lagi yang lebih tepat.
3. Jika sudah ditemukan, lakukanperbesaran atau zoom in pada lokasi. Selanjutnya tap-tahan pada jalan raya dekat Menara Eiffel berada hingga muncul keterangan nama jalan. Tap pada nama jalan tersebut hingga muncul jendela menu baru berisi keterangan nama jalan.
4. Untuk mulai tamasya ke Menara Eiffel, tap pada tombol [Street View]. Tunggu beberapa saat hingga aplikasi menampilkan jendela baru dengan tampilan Menara Eiffel. Tampilan ini memiliki visual seakan-akan anda sedang berada di sana secara langsung.
5. Geser-geserlah layar dan anda akan melihat keadaan di sekitar menara Eiffel. Ini membuat anda seakan-akan berada di sana. Untuk berpindah posisi berdiri (namun harus tetap berada di jalan raya, bukan di taman atau tempat lain selain jalan raya), tap-geser ikon manusia berwarna kuning ke posisi yang diinginkan.
6. Lihatlah, posisi anda kini sudah berubah. Lakukan hal yang sama untuk berpindah-pindah tempat lagi. Kecuali anda ingin berpindah lokasi lain, misalnya Menara Pisa di Italia, maka tap tombol menu, pilih [Go to map], dan masukkan kata kunci baru di kotak pencarian dan lakukan hal yang sama dengan langkah-langkah di atas.
